Our Manchester Data Centre - Turing (DC6)
This data centre is the second largest of our Manchester facilities. Named after pioneering computer scientist Alan Turing, Turing House is located less than a mile from the A57 and just a 10-minute drive from Manchester Piccadilly railway station.
Like other iomart sites, it has a 12kN/m² raised floor system with network cabling and power delivered above rack.
Key Features
- A 300m², tier 2 facility located close to the city centre.
- The site has an 11000-volt power supply into the site.
- Five 160 kVA UPS in place as well as battery back-up systems and a generator contingency
- The data centre is manned by more than ten staff during key working hours, with two staff out-of-hours support from the wider group

Our Manchester Data Centre - Reynolds (DC7)
Named after pioneering computer scientist John C Reynolds, Reynolds House is located less than a mile from the A57 and just a 10-minute drive from Manchester Piccadilly railway station.
Like other iomart sites, it has a 12kN/m² raised floor system with network cabling and power delivered above the rack.

• The site has a 500kVA power supply from building energy centre.
• Five 100 kW UPS in place and a generator contingency
• The data centre is manned by more than 10 staff during key working hours with two staff out-of-hours support from the wider group.

About our Manchester Data Centre (DC13)
Our third data centre based in Manchester is located in the Trafford area of the city, in the shadow of Old Trafford stadium. It is a short walk from the nearest Metro link station and less than three miles from Manchester Piccadilly station, the M60 and the M602 so transport is no problem.
Although still under the LDeX brand, this data centre – which was opened in 2015 – became an iomart facility when we acquired LDex in 2018. Parking is not a problem and we can accommodate up to 12 people in our on-site meeting room.
Like other iomart sites it has a 12kN/m² raised floor system with network cabling and power delivered below the rack.

- A 540m², tier 2 purpose-built facility spread across four data halls.
- The site has a 6.6kV power supply into the site
- Four 200kVA UPS in place as well as battery backup systems and a generator contingency
- The data centre is 24hr on site Network Operations Centre (NOC) with at least two staff on site during key working hours. Out of hours support Is provided by two staff and supported by the wider group
